How It Should Have Ended

Thank you to the wonderful people of Tronblr. You are by far one of the best fandoms I’ve ever been in. It was an honor to close out the night. This is the final and unfortunately only piece I did during my Livestream slot for Virtual Tron Con, but it was a great way to end the festivities.

I believe everyone will agree that this would have been a much happier ending—perhaps not a better one, but at least one that gave CLU the redemption he could have had.

See you all next year~!

Glorious! The blue background really complements Clu’s amber circuitry!

Today, December 17, 2011, marks the one year anniversary of TRON: Legacy in theaters.

Twelve months later and I’m still in love with this franchise. I’ve realized that even with my immense appreciation for the films and it’s spin-offs, I can’t really do anything other than to profess my gratitude for the amazing people related to this series.

Thank you to Steven Lisberger and Joseph Kosinski for keeping this story alive. Thank you to Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner for returning after so many years. Thank you to Garrett Hedlund, Olivia Wilde, Michael Sheen, James Frain, and Beau Garrett for the wonderful performances. Thank you to Cindy Morgan, Dan Shor, and David Warner for their support of the sequel and the potential of another film. Thank you to Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo for the incredible soundtrack. Thank you to the filming crew and the production team for capturing such a fantastic sequel. Thank you to the fandom, old and new, for warmly welcoming me into their group. Thank you to the amazing people I’ve met because of these films. Thank you, TRON, for making me happy when things were otherwise holding me back.
